Built by people who understand both poker and software
RangerPro is made by two friends: Pascal, who built the platform, and Jonathan, who shaped the tool on the poker side, from designing the ranges to the player experience. One masters the software, the other knows what players really need. That combination of skills makes for a tool that is reliable, clear and genuinely useful for learning, especially when you are just starting out.
Pascal
Founder and engineer
Pascal is the founder of RangerPro. A software engineering director by profession, he is also a lifelong poker enthusiast. He designed and built the whole platform: the range builder, the LeakFinder, the replayer, the quizzes and the infrastructure that runs the site.
His starting idea was simple: give beginners a clear, free tool to study ranges, without the complexity and jargon that often discourage people early on. Every feature is built to stay fast, readable and accessible, on desktop as well as on mobile.
On the technical side, he makes sure the tool stays reliable, polished and pleasant to use: a bilingual site, carefully detailed, that never gets in the way of learning. The goal is for the quality of the software to match the quality of the ranges.
Jonathan
Product design, ranges and player experience
Jonathan is a regular player on Winamax and one of the driving forces behind RangerPro on the poker side. His role is not limited to producing ranges: he thinks about the tool as a whole, with one simple question in mind: how do you actually help a player improve without getting lost in theory?
He designed the ranges, structured the game situations and shaped the modules so they meet the real needs of MTT players: knowing what to play, understanding why, practicing regularly and spotting your mistakes.
His contribution is to bridge poker technique, real table experience and how the product is actually used. RangerPro was built as a practical, clear and usable tool, not as a mere database of ranges copied from a solver.
verified Why RangerPro is different
Many tools are made by engineers who do not play, or by players who cannot code. RangerPro brings both together: the rigor of good software and a real understanding of the game. And everything is built for beginners first, with ranges that are clear, explained and easy to study.
Start studying your ranges
Open the range builder, run a preflop quiz or analyze your hands. It is all free and built to help you improve one step at a time.
