What the automatic leak finder does

The leak finder reads your Winamax MTT hand history file, parses every preflop decision, and compares it against RangerPro's curated default ranges for the matching position, scenario, and stack depth.

Upload your hand history

Drop a Winamax .txt or .log file. The parser extracts every hand, every action, and every stack size automatically.

Compare against ranges

Each preflop decision is matched to the corresponding default range — position, scenario, stack depth, and villain position included.

Results are grouped by leak type, ranked by severity, and illustrated with concrete hand examples you can replay or cross-check against the source range.

Who it's for

Built for MTT grinders who study preflop

The leak finder is designed for tournament players who already work with ranges and want a data-driven way to check their actual play against their intended strategy.

Tournament regulars

If you play MTT on Winamax and want to spot systematic preflop mistakes instead of guessing, the leak finder gives you hard numbers.

Players moving up stakes

When the competition tightens, small preflop errors compound. Finding them early saves buy-ins at higher levels.

Students and coaches

Share a leak report with your coach or study partner. The data speaks for itself — no manual hand-sorting needed.

Range builders

If you build custom ranges in RangerPro, the leak finder tells you whether your table play actually matches what you planned.

Leak types detected

Nine detectors covering every preflop scenario

Each detector targets a specific type of preflop mistake. Together, they cover opens, 3-bets, 4-bets, calls, and folds across all positions and stack depths.

Off-range opens

Opening hands not in your position's range. The detector flags how often you open too wide or with the wrong combos.

Missed opens

Folding or limping hands you should be opening. Identifies profitable spots you're leaving on the table.

Off-range 3-bets

3-betting with hands outside the recommended range for that position and villain.

Missed 3-bets

Calling or folding when the range says you should 3-bet. Catches passive lines in aggressive spots.

Over-folding vs 3-bets

Folding hands that belong in your defending range. Surrendering too much equity to 3-bettors.

Off-range calls & 4-bets

Calling opens, 3-bets, or 4-bets with hands not in the defending range. Covers the full action tree.

How it works

From file upload to actionable leak report

Three steps. No configuration needed — the system handles parsing, matching, and severity classification automatically.

Step 1

Upload your file

Select a Winamax hand history (.txt or .log, up to 2 MB). The parser extracts hands, actions, and stack sizes.

Step 2

Automatic analysis

Nine detectors run in the background, comparing every preflop decision to the right range for that exact spot.

Step 3

Review your leaks

See each leak with severity, frequency, and concrete examples. Click through to replay the hand or open the source range.

Leak finder FAQ

Common questions about RangerPro's automatic preflop leak detection.

What hand history formats does the leak finder support?
Currently, the leak finder supports Winamax MTT hand history files in .txt or .log format. The parser reads tournament metadata, player positions, stack sizes, and every preflop action automatically.
What kinds of leaks does it detect?
Nine types: off-range opens, missed opens, off-range 3-bets, missed 3-bets, off-range calls vs opens, off-range calls vs 3-bets, off-range 4-bets, over-folding vs 3-bets, and off-range calls vs 4-bets.
How does the severity system work?
Each leak is classified as high, medium, or low severity based on how often it occurs. A high-severity leak means the mistake happens frequently enough to have a real impact on your tournament results.
Can I see the exact hands where leaks were detected?
Yes. Every detected leak comes with hand examples showing your hole cards, position, stack depth, and a link to replay the hand or view the source range the system compared against.
Does it analyze postflop play?
No. The leak finder focuses exclusively on preflop decisions — opens, calls, raises, 3-bets, 4-bets, and folds. Preflop is where the most systematic and fixable mistakes happen in MTT.
